Why I do this
I never set out to be a photographer. I set out to keep things — the half-second before a laugh, the way evening light folds across a veil, the glance exchanged when no one else is watching. The camera was simply the most honest way I found to hold on to them.
Born in Lyon and based between Kolhapur and Mumbai Aminesh has spent fifteen years photographing weddings, couture houses and editorial campaigns across more than thirty countries. His imagery is defined by its restraint: cinematic, unhurried and deeply human.
