People assume wildlife photography is about long lenses and luck. In truth it is about patience — and respect for the animal in front of you.
Arrive before the light
For the Wild Frame series I was in position forty minutes before sunrise, motionless, letting the forest forget I was there. Only then did the blackbucks step into the clearing.
The same discipline that serves me in the wild serves me at a wedding: be still, be patient, and let the real moment come to you.
